About Faculty Development

Faculty Development at the Texas A&M Health Science Center provides continuing education opportunities for faculty in the areas of teaching, learning, assessment and educational leadership and scholarship. We offer online faculty development offerings; education grand rounds; one-on-one consultations; tailored presentations for large and small groups; and instructional resources. Additionally, the research arm of our office is solely committed to supporting the research efforts of the Health Science Center faculty.

Faculty Development - Research

Faculty Development - Research, is the arm of the Office of Faculty Development that provides resources and support for tenure track faculty whose primary focus is basic, translational or clinical research. The office facilitates mentorship of faculty at all levels, especially junior and mid-career investigators, and collaborations among faculty within the Health Science Center and the Texas A&M University campus. The initiatives of the office have the ultimate goal to increase the research enterprise, especially as it pertains to securing extramural funding sponsored by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT).
