About Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives
Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives provides strategic leadership and creates partnerships across Texas A&M Health and university to positively impact the health of Texas communities. The department manages the institution’s community-facing components and initiatives including the Coastal Bend Health Education Center, the South Texas Center, TexVet and Healthy South Texas/Healthy Texas. These programs serve as platforms to engage community members, and leverage the strength and influence these efforts have on the health and well-being of Texans. The department works with a diverse group of academicians, clinicians and community stakeholders to identify and evaluate innovative programs in health promotion and chronic disease management with the goal of improving population health.SPI Components
