Abigail Sharer

Abigail Sharer (she/her/hers) is a second-year student in Texas A&M's Counseling Psychology program. She values working in community mental health settings and uses an integrated approach to counseling, pulling from Relational-Cultural, Acceptance and Commitment, and Interpersonal theories. She works with clients in both Spanish and English and is pursuing certificates in Latino Mental Health and Latino & Mexican American Studies. Sharer seeks to help clients learn and tell their own stories and centers culture in her work.

Sharer received her MEd in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M in 2019, and Bachelors in Spanish and Psychology from Carleton College in 2018. She holds professional memberships in the Texas Psychological Association (TPA), the National Latinx Psychological Association (NLPA), and the American Psychological Association (APA, Divisions 17, 44, and 45).
