Any medical provider (doctor or nurse), whether active or retired, or currently enrolled medical or nursing student.
We are looking for clinical volunteers to assist with staffing at one of the area hospitals (CHI St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, CHI St. Joseph College Station, or Baylor Scott and White College Station) should we need to increase the surge capacity with the hospitals due to COVID-19.
Clinical volunteers will be utilized at one of the area hospitals (CHI St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, CHI St. Joseph College Station, or Baylor Scott and White College Station) to assist with surge capacity, if needed.
You may be expected to perform tasks that include, but not limited to, non-invasive and non-sterile treatments; collecting, reporting, and documenting data; patient ambulation, positioning, and turning; transportation of patients within the facility; etc.
You can assist in various areas of interest while under medical supervision. The areas in which you may assist could include patient care areas (ICU, ER, or medical floor) or support/ancillary areas (employee screening, PPE appropriate use observer, etc.).
Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you may be expected to perform tasks that include, but not limited to, non-invasive and non-sterile treatments; collecting, reporting, and documenting data; patient ambulation, positioning, and turning; transportation of patients within the facility; etc.
You may be able to perform duties based on your licensure. The areas in which you may assist could include patient care areas (ICU, ER, or medical floor) or support/ancillary areas (employee screening, PPE appropriate use observer, etc.).
