Barnes has over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents, primarily in school settings. She also provides services at the Texas A&M University Texas A&M University’s Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) clinic using cognitive behavioral therapy as a foundation.
Barnes' therapeutic approach also integrates solution-focused, person-centered and play therapy techniques to meet the individual needs of each client. She strives to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space, meeting clients where they are and empowering them throughout their therapeutic journey.
