Barry C. Nelson, PhD, serves as the special assistant to the senior vice president for Real Estate and Facilities Operations. He holds a Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy in educational administration from Texas A&M University. Dr. Nelson began his service as an academic business administrator for the College of Medicine in 1992, and since 2000, he led the Division of Finance and Administration for Texas A&M Health.
