Darin Garrett
Biography
Darin Garrett graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Biomedical Sciences, minorsin Neuroscience and Business Administration, and a certificate in leadership from the Corps of
Cadets. He brings seven years of combined expertise in research and higher education to Texas
A&M University, presenting at several international conferences and serving as a judge at the
2023 Texas Science and Engineering Fair. He managed research initiatives like the creation of a
virtual reality laboratory space, increasing student participation, and website redesign in order to
widen and promote the School of Public Health's diverse research portfolio. In August of 2022,
he joined the CLRC team as a TA/SP Educator at the Houston campus, providing services from
the PETA/GTA/MUTA programs and supporting other events as needed. He is deeply
committed to both learning and discovery. Darin enjoys attending leadership conferences,
reading, running, and exploring the greatest restaurants in the Houston area when he isn't
working.
