Jennifer earned her Associates of Applied Sciences in Medical Imaging from San Jacinto College in 2011, and will be awarded her Bachelor of Applied Technology in Health Professions Technology from Tarleton State University in 2021. She is a Certified Healthcare Simulations Operations Specialist, as well as being certified in Laerdal Preventative Maintenance and a certified EMS Simulation IQ trainer. With the COVID-19 pandemic she has become our resident TeleSim Coordinator. Jennifer is skilled with a sewing needle and a paintbrush, and she uses this skill set to improve task trainers and cover standardized patients in realistic moulage. She loves her work in simulation because it lets her combine her scientific curiosity with her creative skills to help the future of medicine. When not working at the CLRC, Jen spends her time with her daughter and taking care of her own domestic zoo of three dogs, a cat, and a guinea pig.
