About Carl Gregory

Carl Gregory is an associate professor in the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics at the Texas A&M School of Medicine. He graduated with first class honors degree in biochemistry from the University of York and a PhD in molecular and cell biology from the University of Manchester, both in the United Kingdom.

He lead an academic research program at Tulane University from 2005 until 2008 before joining Texas A&M in 2008. Dr. Gregory specializes in developmental biology, adult stem cell biology and regenerative medicine, with a focus on bone repair, metabolism and malignancy. His current research is on methods for large-scale production of adult stem cells and their therapeutic products, especially for bone healing. He teaches stem cell and bone biology to medical, veterinary and graduate students. He has published numerous original research articles, book chapters, narratives and editorials on adult stem cell-based technologies and medical applications.
