About Nora Montalvo-Liendo
Nora Montalvo-Liendo, RN, PhD, FAAN, is an assistant professor at the Texas A&M School of Nursing. Her research interests are minority populations, interpersonal violence, sexual violence and childhood adverse events.
Her past research has focused on abused women US-born compared to non-US-born abused women, and on testing the efficacy of programs for abused Hispanic women and their children.
Dr. Montalvo-Liendo received her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science in public health nursing from the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost School, and Doctor of Philosophy in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Nursing.
