About Compliance & Risk Management
Compliance & Risk Management provides the infrastructure and resources necessary to ensure all Texas A&M Health campuses meet or exceed the highest possible standards regarding all state and federal laws, guidelines and procedures. The department provides support, management and oversight of multiple risk areas including privacy, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and insurance for the practice plan, interprofessional educational activities and research.
