Biography
Alma has over 12 years of healthcare experience. She has experience as a Phlebotomy Supervisor and a Certified Nursing Aid. She has a passion for caring for people and helping them with the emotional and physical healing process. She started her journey as a Simulation Technician and has worked through the ranks to Simulation Program Coordinator. Her role is to manage the “back of house” by ensuring that all events are prepared in advance and that all customers’ needs are met. Her duties include coordinating and scheduling events with both internal and external customers, ordering supplies, managing inventory, performing maintenance on manikins and equipment, developing and training workshop material, and serves as the departmental Student Assistant Supervisor. Although she no longer works directly with patients, she is proud to be a part of such an amazing team that helps create better future healthcare professionals. In her spare time, Alma enjoys spending quality time with her kids and husband.
