Biography
Katie began her career in simulation in 2022 at the Texas A&M Simulation & Immersive Learning Center at Texas A&M Health Science Center as a Simulation Program Coordinator. In this role, she supported simulation-based curriculum for the Medicine and Nursing programs, as well as events for external healthcare clients. Responsibilities included operating manikins, vital signs systems, and AV systems; preparing simulated medications, examination kits, and moulage; and implementing an inventory system to track consumable item usage.
In 2023, Kate attended the SimGHOSTS conference and presented on inventory organization and management in a simulation center.
Katie was promoted to Site Manager in October 2024. In this role, she oversees all aspects of daily operations at the Bryan-College Station site. Additionally, she is the primary University Youth Program representative for the Sim Center.
