Megan Doyel
Biography
Megan earned her BS in Health Education and minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2012 and her BSN from Texas A&M College of Nursing in 2014. She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Business Leadership from Western Governors University in 2019. Additionally, in 2019, Megan completed the Executive Leadership Certification through Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School. After graduating from nursing school, Megan began her healthcare simulation journey at the Clinical Learning Resource Center as a Simulation Coordinator, then transitioned to the Assistant Director of the Bryan campus, before moving into the Associate Director role in 2019. After only five years at Texas A&M, Megan was one of twenty-five individuals across TAMUS to receive the President’s Meritorious Service Award. Through the College of Medicine, Megan has also been awarded the Excel award, and the Leadership and Selfless Service Aggie Core Value Coin Awards. Megan prides herself on being an Aggie professional with a commitment to the core values of Respect, Excellence, Leadership, Loyalty, Integrity, and Selfless-Service. In her free time, Megan enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and two daughters. Her favorite thing about simulation is the safe environment it creates for learners to develop their healthcare and communication skills as they develop into caring and competent healthcare professionals.
