Robert Hudspeth
Biography
Rob has over eight years of experience as a Standardized Patient (SP) and more than six years as an SP educator and coordinator. His responsibilities have included facilitating simulation experiences for learners in individual and group settings, providing feedback, and supporting clinical evaluations. Drawing on two decades of professional acting training, Rob has taught SPs to accurately portray symptoms and cases, creating highly realistic learning experiences.
He contributed to the development of the Breaking Bad News program for the UT Southwestern simulation program, emphasizing the authentic portrayal of emotions.
Rob is currently the Site Manager for the Texas A&M Simulation and Immersive Center- Dallas site. In this role, he has helped develop online SP training, oversees telesimulation case portrayals, and manages the daily operations of the site.
