Web Accessibility

We want everyone who visits the Texas A&M University Health Science Center website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

The Texas A&M Health University has developed an Accessibility Standard Administrative Procedure. Our institution's accessibility practices are based on the federal standards established by Section 508 as well as the accessibility standards of Texas Administrative Code 206.70.

What we're doing

To help us make the Texas A&M Health Science Center website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We've chosen Level AA as the target for the Texas A&M Health Science Center website.

Let us know what you think

We've worked hard on the Texas A&M Health Science Center website and continue to work towards our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly, but if you do find any problems with links or accessibility, please let us know by emailing us.
