Interprofessional Relationship Outreach Network

Interprofessional Student Organization

The Interprofessional Relationship Outreach Network (IRON) was initiated by TAMU Health students and established in the summer of 2020. This student organization serves to grow the Texas A&M Health disciplines together for the betterment of our schools, our practices, and the communities we serve. The Office of Interprofessional Education & Research (IPER) supports IRON in their endeavors.

Chris Kaunas, IPER’s Assistant Vice President, serves as IRON’s Student Organization Development & Administration advisor, and each TAMU Health college has a discipline-based IRON faculty advisor. IRON meets on the last Monday of most months at 6PM via Zoom, and all TAMU Health students, faculty, and staff are welcome. To learn more, visit the IRON website.
